The challenge
To revamp the logo and Web site for a music licensing company through strong Marketing.
The process
Once the music library was acquired from the client, we began to develop the updated,
cutting-edge, look and feel of this music licensing site. Constant communication
enabled us to define the vision, and ultimately implement many attractive features
to the visitor:
- Searching the catalog
- Browsing through the catalog by volume
- Listening to audio tracks
- Turning an interactive knob in Flash to select a particular
volume and automatically navigate to it
- Adding items to a shopping cart for final checkout (with
number of items in the cart always displayed at right)
These features all conspire to lead the visitor to the most desired action,
namely the purchase.
If the user has Flash installed, the site operates using this technology. Otherwise,
transparent to the visitor, straight HTML pages come up. Performing our standard
testing on Mac and PC platforms and on a variety of browsers ensured all nuances
of the site were in working order for all user experiences.
The outcome
A cutting-edge, visually stimulating site designed to showcase each title available
in the vast music library, always aiming to pull the visitor towards the purchase.
